Last updated: 12 June 2026

These terms govern your use of brontewriter.com (the “Site”), operated by Vishnu Jayadevan. By using the Site or joining the waitlist, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the Site.

The Site and Brontë

The Site is a marketing and waitlist page for Brontë, a desktop writing application that is still in development. Information about Brontë is provided for general purposes and may change as the product evolves.

The waitlist

Joining the waitlist lets us contact you about Brontë. It does not guarantee access, a particular price, a release date, or that the product will ship at all. Access is offered in waves at our discretion. Please provide an email address you are entitled to use.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site — including submitting false information, attempting to disrupt or overload our forms or services, or accessing the Site in any unlawful way.

Intellectual property

The text, design, and graphics on this Site are owned by the operator and protected by copyright. “Brontë” and the Brontë logo are the name and branding of this project. Please don't reproduce the Site's content or branding in a way that suggests affiliation or endorsement without our permission.

No warranty

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or the waitlist.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
