What we collect

• Your email address, when you submit it to join the waitlist.
• Your IP address and a timestamp, recorded automatically with your submission to prevent abuse and keep a basic record of consent.
• Anti-bot signals. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm submissions come from a person, not a bot. Turnstile may process limited device and interaction data to make that assessment. It is privacy-oriented and is not used to track you across sites.

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, we do not track you across the web, and we do not use your information to train any AI system.

Why we use it

We use your email solely to contact you about Brontë — primarily to let you know when access is available. We rely on your consent (given when you submit the form) and our legitimate interest in operating a waitlist.

Where it's stored

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and waitlist entries are stored in Cloudflare D1. Cloudflare acts as our processor and may store and process this data on its global infrastructure. We do not sell or rent your information, and we share it only with service providers needed to run the waitlist.

How long we keep it

We keep your email until Brontë launches and we have contacted you, or until you ask us to remove it — whichever comes first. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, and you may withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. The same address serves as our contact for any grievance regarding your data.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The site and Brontë are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
